Where to Start?
I remember feeling the same when I first moved here. I wanted to support local places, but Google kept pushing the same big chains or random listings from other towns. Someone told me about the Local Business Directory, and honestly, it’s been a great starting point. It’s all local, and you can browse by category—like restaurants, services, retail, even health and wellness stuff. It helped me find a great local auto shop and a small market that sells fresh produce and handmade goods. What I liked is that it felt community-focused, not commercial. Definitely recommend checking it out if you want to settle in and feel more connected to the area.
